Coronavirus: Solskjaer, Manchester United manager send message to his players, their wives and girlfriends
Manager for Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has told the wives and girlfriends of his players, to keep them sharp and strong during the coronavirus lockdown.
Solskjaer has been keeping in touch with his players via WhatsApp, with Premier League fixtures on hold because of coronavirus. Each player in the team has been given an individual fitness programme to follow.
Solskjaer has called on his players’ partners, to play their part by joining in with their training sessions and residential kickabouts.
“The players have gotten individual programmes, so this era might be wont to work on something special, something specific for them.
“I’ve been within the garden, with the youngsters , performing on finishing and therefore the strikers should be performing on finishing or their movement. Most of the players have got good facilities and decent gardens so, hopefully, their wives and girlfriends will be able to put some passes and crosses in,” he said according to the UK Mirror.
